Use Auto-schedule when you start a new three-week period, or when staff changes leave gaps in the roster. Plana fills the draft from your saved staffing needs, and the shifts you already have stay.

In detail
What Plana takes into account
Contract hours, staff wishes, at least 11 hours' daily rest, at most 7 working days in a row, weekly rest and the three-week hour limits of MaRa TES 2025. You can switch off the wishes.
What it doesn't do
It doesn't publish anything or change shifts you already have. A published roster isn't auto-scheduled: changes to it are made by hand and need the employee's consent.
When needs contradict each other
Every staffing row must hold at the same time. If rows contradict each other, Plana doesn't force a roster; it shows which rows are blocking it.
Mid-period changes
When someone leaves or a new person joins, run it again. It only fills the gaps, and the slots of suggestions you dropped can be re-planned or filled by hand.
