New: calendar sync, your own language and breaks in the employee app

Shifts in the phone calendar, in your own language
Under My account → Calendar sync, the employee gets a personal link. With it, published shifts appear in the phone's own calendar, whether that is Google, Apple or Outlook. Only published shifts reach the calendar, and times are shown in Helsinki time.
Language is personal: the app and its notifications use the employee's own language (Finnish, Chinese, English, Vietnamese), not the restaurant's language. So one team can use up to four different languages at the same time.
Breaks are visible from the roster to the clock-in
A shift's planned break is included in the shift roster (työvuorolista). The app's clock-in card shows the day's break, for example as "Break today 19.30–20.00", offers a "Start break" button ten minutes before the break and sends a local reminder when the break time begins.
The shift lead sees breaks as gaps on the day's timeline. On the web hours page, the planned and the actual break are shown side by side. More information: Clock-in and breaks.
When is a clock-in approved automatically?
A clock-in is approved automatically when the employee confirms it and the following conditions are met:
- The clock-in is within 15 minutes of the planned shift.
- A planned shift exists.
- It is not a manual correction.
- A shift longer than six hours includes a break.
Deviations still go to the supervisor (esihenkilö) for approval.
What else changed in the views?
The TES hints in the app (TES, the restaurant-sector collective agreement) now give the reason and the numbers, for example which rest period falls short and by how much. In the shift lead's Today view, the day's shifts are on a timeline, and the day's staffing split, clock-in approvals and leave requests are at the top.
